The hotel includes a campground, bohio and swimming pool. They also have various of parrots and macaws and a monkey.
They also have a great restaurant where the hamburgers are excellent and known throughout PANAMA. They also have home-made french fries and pies (pecan, apple, and fudge).
A great hangout for Americans and Canadians. They are also close to the beach of Santa Clara (5 minute walk). |

Sheila is written up in Lonely Planet for her hamburgers! A place to go watch sports on the big screen TV and talk with the owners, Sheila and Dennis.
We go over there a lot and enjoy all the sports stuff on the walls and ceilings!!
They also have a campground and small hotel. Very clean and neat. They have a lot of American food and have been here for 13+ years.
Shiela is originally from Chicago. They have the best hamburgers, pizza bread, ribs and brats for MILES around! Ask for her home-made fries!! Her pecan, apple, and chocolate fudge pies are to die for (LOL)!

DirecTV, mini-refrigerator, and orthopedic mattresses in the rooms. Quaint little bar and a la carte breakfast daily. They are also adding additional rooms due to their huge success. January 25, 2009 |
Barcelo/Playa Blanca | | | Farallon | 993-2910 | Review By: Mary | | This is an all inclusive resort about 1-1/2 hours from Panama City.
They have a great layout. The rooms are spacious and include a safe (no charge). Elevators in almost every building. The staff is very friendly.
The pools, bars and restaurants are fairly close together. The food is great. They have name brand liquors and the wine is from a bottle (unlike the Decameron where wine is in a box and only served with meals). Everything is on one level (NO steps).
The Barcelo is MUCH better then the Decameron. There are NO STEPS and NO extra charges for a safe in the room.
We have stayed at both the Decameron and Barcelo. The Barcelo is a greater value.

Great rooms with large bathroom. Nice pool and great hospitality by Cecilia and her daughter! The open kitchen area offers various drinks and snacks on the honor system.
There are hammocks outside the room, a large open area for sitting and relaxing. WiFi is availabile.
Great place and I can't wait to go back!!!
