Quaint little bed and breakfast right across from the Cathedral on Main Street. One block to the bakery and a couple of restaurants. Three block walk to the market.

DirecTV, mini-refrigerator, and orthopedic mattresses in the rooms. Quaint little bar and a la carte breakfast daily.

They have recently sold to new owners. Bruchetta's restaurant is still operating at the hotel.

Barcelo/Playa Blanca

This is an all inclusive resort about 1-1/2 hours from Panama City.

They have a great layout. The rooms are spacious and include a safe (no charge). Elevators in almost every building. The staff is very friendly.

The pools, bars and restaurants are fairly close together. The food is great. They have name brand liquors and the wine is from a bottle (unlike the Decameron where wine is in a box and only served with meals). Everything is on one level (NO steps).

The Barcelo is MUCH better then the Decameron. There are NO STEPS and NO extra charges for a safe in the room.

We have stayed at both the Decameron and Barcelo. The Barcelo is a greater value. January 25, 2009

Newly opened bed and breakfast in Pedasi. Great rooms with large bathroom. Nice pool and great hospitality by Cecilia and her daughter! The open kitchen area offers various drinks and snacks on the honor system. There are hammocks outside the room, a large open area for sitting and relaxing. WiFi is availabile. Great place and I can't wait to go back!!! March 23, 2010

Cholo's Mexican Restaurant

Cholo's has great MEXICAN food. Matt had fajitas that came out sizzling on a serving platter surrounded by the wooden plate holder. On the side he had refried beans, guacamole, salad, and tortilla shells. I had the enchiladas, which were to die for!! Their taco and fajita salads are excellent!

The also have salsa and cheese dip along with corn chips which was excellent!!

Everything is made fresh daily!

Pricing was very inexpensive and the drinks were also worth the trip to Cholo's! They surpassed our Mexican restaurant in CHICAGO!!

Cholo's is closed Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.

One of the best resorts on the Pacific--a little over 1 hour from Panama City. You can enjoy golf, tennis, beach, spa, horses, etc.

The beach club includes swimming pool, restaurant and bar. They have a shuttle bus that will run you back and forth between the beach and resort.

The resort includes a golf pro shop, olympic size pool, internet cafe, hot tubs and MUCH more. There is also the Equistrian Club with stables and a small zoo.

The restaurants are fantastic. You can enjoy a meal by the pool or overlooking the gardens. There is a fine dining restaurant upstairs.

We stayed there while our home was being completed. Roberto Eisenmann is the contractor of our home. He also has various models available on the golf course and Equistrian Club. There is the new high rise condo project, Alcazar, located on the golf course.

Located just past the entrance to El Valle by 400 meters on the PanAmerican Highway.

Bohio open air restaurant. German and Swiss beers besides Panama, Atlas and Balboa.

Matt had veal with a mushroom sauce and I had the rositi (hashbrowns with bacon and onions). The food was to "die for" excellent. Our total bill was $38.00 withOUT the pensionado discount included 6 German beers and dinner.

Definitely a place to check out. They are open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
